Valentines Day Gift Baskets

I really wanted to treat the girls to a Galentines day and goodie baskets. But with such limited time before our family vacation, time and simplicity was of the essence.

What I did get to do with them was a few simple crafts, baked adorable heart shaped cookies, and gift them a few cute and yummy goodies. Although we will be on the beach and by the pool on Valentines Day, I couldn’t help but feel like they would be missing out just a little on the usual valentines day affair.

I picked up these wooden letters and thought it would be cute for the girls to decorate to hang in the playroom (or their room)…there were hearts too. The girls chose to paint them but you can use stickers, glitter, bows, wrap them in yarn – be creative and have fun 🙂 Basic, simple and affordable. Letters are from Walmart, but you can find them at Michaels too (or any craft store)

They did pretty good for 3 and 5, without any help from mom. I was expecting a huge mess but they did well!

Fresh Chic in Mila’s room. lol. Made the French print myself. If it’s easy enough for me to do, I just make them myself and save the money! 🙂

I chose to do a separate post for our valentines baskets so here they are in case you guys are interested in a little Inspo. I absolutely love doing them and filling them with things I think the girls will enjoy at that moment. They’re meant to be fun but inexpensive and to celebrate the event or holiday!

Heart Sunnies from Dollarama

Unicorn headband from Walmart

The Valentines/cupid pyjamas from Old Navy here and I love these too

Canvas baskets from Pehr Design

These tags brought it all together and gave it the perfect sweet touch

All tied up with yarn and decorated with tassels and pom poms and that’s it!

For a list of all our favourite books and a DIY heart garland see my other post here.

Wishing you all a very sweet LOVE day! Thanks for reading lovelies! xx

With Love,

Michelle and the minis xo
